I have this on C/D in the car and sometimes other drivers must wonder what is going on in that blue Subaru because I am laughing so hard. the man is unique in his vision of the world. How many other essayists tell you about how they capture flies in their Normandy home to feed their spider against his lover's disgusted protests. "oh come on", he tells Hugh when he ' goes all Ghandi' , "they just bring in germs and dance on our silverware". Who else tells us mournfully about how he couldn't understand why his seat controls on his airplane seat arm weren't working until he realized his seat-mate (the crying Polish man) was jerking up and down in his seat like a puppet.
