I've often enjoyed Armstrong's columns in Runner's World magazine so I came in with the knowledge that along with running advice there would also be stories. While I will admit that I was looking for something different (how to fit marathon training into a woman's life) I came away with gratitude for her words that didn't have a thing to do with training programs. (She seems to basically run every darn day and follow whatever her trainer tells her to do.) One doesn't need to be a mother, Christian, or runner to relate to this book, but it will help.
