A nice and illuminating recap about the role of technology in our life. My favorite chapter is the last one iGod which reveals some of Google's ambitious plan to be AI-complete. It sparks again my fascination with the prospect of artificial intelligence. Practical everyday work has made the idea a bit esoteric for the time being. While actually most of the latest technologies we have now are quite esoteric a couple of decades ago.
