it was amazing
bookshelves: utopias-dystopias

Amazing. Chilling. Griping. I couldn't put this down (literally--I read it in a single day, only stopping when forced to) and now that I've finished it I can't get it out of my head. It's fairly violent, and much more towards horror than what I usually like/read, but I love distopian future novels and I also love books about weird diseases, so I got really into this. It reminded me of a blend of David Brin's the Postman, Children of Men (the movie, have not read the book), and the Hunger Games, except creepier than any of those. I also loved the end. Highly recommend, although perhaps not for an evening when you are home alone!
