This book has been on my TBR pile for quite some time, seeing that it was a classic I was bound to read at one point of time. With the movie coming out, I decided to push it up the pile and start reading it.

The best thing about this book is the writing, this book has been written so sophistically and classy you can’t help but admire it. The mystery behind Jay Gatsby was the second more intriguing thing about this book and how this character came to be what he is.

This book hits you with a wave of reality, showing that even though you’ve worked hard to obtain many things, you may not always get the thing that you want the most.
