Porter is undoubtedly the leading authority on competitive strategy, I was after a condensed but thorough overview of his work as a reminder of his key principles and frameworks, this book was exactly that. It was easy to digest and follow, I really liked the structure of the book and the way it pieced Porters work from a number his books together, in a clear and cohesive way. Highly recommended especially for those involved in strategy at any level, a staple for all managers. The interview between Magretta and Porter at the end was also interesting and insigtful. I also found the glossary useful - we all need a reminder of the basics from time to time
