Amazing follow up to Preston/Child's "Gideon's Sword". The pace of this novel is fast and styling is P/C at their best. They do character buildup better than most.
I loved the verbal foreplay between title character Gideon Crew and his FBI partner, in this novel, Stone Foredyce. Their friendship becomes almost intimate, like only the best of male bonding can do.
Great plot with a few surprising twists. Highly recommended.

Randy They are among my favorite thriller writers, their worst book being the average sequel to Relic, RELIQUARY.
