Love me some Todd Parr.

In keeping with Martin Luther King Jr. time in first and second grades, I read this book to my kids today. One said immediately, "I know why we're reading this!!!!! Because of Martin Luther King!" Yeah, kid!

This is an outrageously cute book about how it is okay to be different, obviously. It ranges from differences relating to likes and dislikes, such as eating macaroni in the bathtub, to things beyond a child's control, such as skin color, disabilities, family structure, and so on. He mixed it up so you'd get a funny page followed by a deeper page.

I just love him. The book was awesome and my kids were peeing themselves laughing.
