really liked it
bookshelves: biography-memoir, audiobooks, history
Read from January 13 to 15, 2012

A fascinating look at the facts behind the legend, including social, economic and political history. Guinn also continues the narrative beyond the fabled shootout, including Wyatt Earp's role in working with Tom Mix and others to present the story "accurately."

My only real problem is that book doesn't really justify the changing of the American west part of the title.
