Gun Games: A Decker/Lazarus Novel
by Faye Kellerman
by Faye Kellerman
I started reading Faye Kellerman's Peter Decker/Rina Lazarus books from the beginning when they fell in love. But while it's safe to say I've enjoyed every single one, the last couple just didn't have quite the same zing, for want of a better word. And increasingly, it seems the focus is less on the interaction between the two, with Rina in particular taking on an ever-shrinking role. The same is true in Gun Games -- even Decker isn't central to the action a fair amount of the time -- making me wonder once again if the series is winding down. But I'm happy to say the zing is back. The plot of is creative, well thought out and held my attention every page of the way. If you're already a fan, I think you'll like this one; and if this is the first one you've read, I predict you'll become a fan.
