3.75/5

Reasons why I didn't enjoy this as much as I'd wanted:

* Couldn't connect to the characters
* The plot was a bit slow and sleepy at times
* The ending is not an ending and the climax felt a bit too easy and convenient. I did however like Cate's unyielding loyalty to her sisters and what she does to maintain their safety.
* There were some swoony moments, but both Finn and Peter . . . they didn't feel real. To me.

What I did love, however, was:

* Tess! :)
* How Cate is very protective of her sisters
* The basis of the phophecy has me wanting to find out what happens next!
* Some nice historical detail, like with the clothing and behaviourisms. And the whole witch fright thing.
* The feather scene and the garden scenes were swoon-worthy!!

Okay, I have like 15 books to review. I'm so so behind on everything and I'm not bothered to blog so I'm just staying away for a while.
