3.5 stars. I could sit here and nitpick all of the little details that kept me from loving this book quite as much as Anna and the French Kiss
, but it hardly seems worth the effort. When it comes right down to it this is a sweet book all about first love and being yourself. I especially liked the use of Lola's two dads, both as positive representations of gay parents AND for the fact that they (as parents) actually played a prominant role in a YA novel. That was nice.
