Judy Blume has a pitch-perfect ear for writing about children and adolescents in a real way. Mrs. Elliott read this book to our class in third grade. There was a run on the book in the library for months.
This is the story of Peter Hatcher, whose life is upended when his parents decide to try living in Princeton, NJ and have a baby whom Peter fears will turn out to be as annoying as his brother Fudge.
