really liked it

This is a really good read. I like Ellory's emotional intelligence, if that's the best way to put it. He writes strong characters in whom you can believe, and relate to at times.

The only weakness in this book and probably a significant one really, though I'm still giving this 4 stars, is the big reveal. You read with quite a clear picture of the outcome, but just know that it will all be turned around and not what you imagined at all. But, then it is all as you thought. This is rather disappointing.

The very end of the book is satisfactory enough; although there's a little feeling of unquiet as you realise that Annie's lifestyle may still be monitored, and she now has the opportunity to change everything which may bring future conflicts...

Whenever I speak to other Bookcrossers about Ellory's books they say that everything he writes is good, but do not match up to his A Quiet Belief in Angels. I'll have to read a few more of his to make that comparision fairly; but Ghostheart is not in the same league. It is definitely the weaker book, for the reasons I've outlined above.

TY Ali, am so far though it's very disturbing in places.

Weebly I've just caught up with you guys and finally read my signed copy. I liked the little twist at the end but agree the main twist was easily guessed.

Rachel Must read a few more of his, it's been ages.
