I really liked the first half of this book, I couldn't put it down. I was excited about the characters, about the story, and couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. The fact that there was no sex, and no cursing should have tipped me off, but it didn't. About 60% through the author started pushing God and christianity. I continued on thinking that was it but then it jumped the shark for me. The story became unrealistic and predictable and left me with a "blah" feeling. The lead character Shiloh started doing things that I couldn't "buy" and I started getting frustrated. I really liked her until this point. I liked the other characters and I felt they remained true to their development throughout the story. Overall, it had a good start but poor finish.
