I loved this book. Its obviously written for children, but there is some humor in it for the adult reading it to the child. The last time I read it I was 13, but now that I have a little boy I can enjoy it on a different level. I could just see some of the conversations happening with my son, that A A Milne has with Christopher Robin, in a year or two once my son speaks better. Very enjoyable. The reason I decided to pick it up again is because I realized I could only remember the stories that Disney tells. Disney does not do the tales justice. The characters are so much more fun in the book. In my opinion Disney misjudged Rabbits personality. Not to mention, although Eeyore makes me sad, I love that not everyone has to be perfect and smart in the book. Too many American children's stories these days are too perfect. I love that 90 years ago in Britain it was ok to have a bear that wasn't very smart, and a depressed donkey. No American today would ever write something with so...more
