recommended for: only those who have an open-minded, non-judgemental, raunchy sense of humor.
It's a collection of short stories, all written by the viewpoint of Henry Chinaski, Charles Bukowski's often-used alter ego. Expect the unexpected, Bukowski does not candy-coat or mince any words. It is biting, clever, and sharp.. and each short story brings you into a new, unanticipated setting, filled with colorful characters. Most do not have set plots, I would not recommend this if you are a person who needs a fixed story. It's a great read to pick up when you have nothing better to do, and you can get a few short stories done in a matter of minutes.
