Okay, I admit it. I read it because of the cover. Yes, sometimes I am just that shallow. But hey, it was another one I picked up for free, and I didn't feel like thinking, so I wanted a quick, easy read. Miss Match sounds like a cute, chick-lit book. And with that cover, it must have something to do with coffee, right?

Within seconds, it was obvious that it was a Christian chick-lit book. Okay, we'll see if it's too OTT or if it just flows with the story and doesn't bother me. So I'm reading along and a few times I was so tempted to stop, because it was kind of dumb. But then I'd start laughing. And a book that makes me laugh will keep me reading.

This is definitely not one for deep plot, although the story isn't bad overall. The writing is a tad on the juvenile side. But it's funny. Not laugh-out-loud, roll-on-the-floor funny, but chuckle and shake-your-head funny. So sue me. I enjoyed it.
