Reflection:
This book is a great book to introduce or build on an adjective lesson. As a teacher you could read the whole book once through and then concentrate only one page or on several pages over the course of the week. Some ideas would be to have the students talk about the describing words on each page. Students could draw a picture of something they really liked in the book and then use words verbally or in print to describe the picture. I really enjoy reading this book to my children and letting them act out the different words like "fast, slow, high, low".
