This memoir starts out slow and tends to be boring in the middle but the ending is what makes this book. It is here that John McCain describes his experience as a POW during the Vietnam War. Whether or not you agree with our involvement, you have to appreciate our men and women who served our country during this time. John McCain makes me proud to be an American!
