This was my first Warhammer 40k book and I quite liked it. The universe is interesting in itself but the story of Eisenhorn was very well told throughout the three books and two short-stories in this omnibus. Of those five stories the first book, Xenos, was my favorite one as it had the biggest and best overarching mystery plots that joined together nicely. The action scenes are well told, except the swordfighting moves, as they're made up names in italic I can't really imagine what he's doing. I'm definitely read more from the author Dan Abnett. The story of Ravenor is probably next for me, as he's featured in these books and seems like a interesting character.
