really liked it

I just love this series. There are some things that are predictable, yet other twists and turns.
I love the characters, the time period, the setting. Just can't get enough of this series! :)

I knew that the girl, Pacale would be the niece of Pricilla, and I knew that Ralph was gay. I loved hearing more of the story behind it. I also knew when Maisie was taken that it would be Maurice at the other end, I don't know why I knew that, but I did. I also knew that the politician dude (who had formerly had a relationship with Ralph) could fully walk and was faking the wheelchair. It was awesome that Maisie had some "conditions" for not "outing" the politicians's dishonesty, and how she got him to work to help the kids who were on the streets. I wonder if Arvil will become a future assistant for Maisie. Looks like things are moving forward with the romance between Maisie and Dr. Dene, but I still wonder if she cares for him anywhere as much as he cares for her... I still want Simon to become better and end up with her... that's such a lost cause, I know... lol
