I didn't enjoy this much. I'm not a Dicken's fan to begin with, but after seeing the film version of a book I sometimes like to read the inspiration for it in it's original form. However, in this case I'd recommend sticking with the movie. It was really dull most of the time, I skipped many, many parts simply skimming through scenes; there was a great deal of "mild" language used by a couple of the characters, and the main characters almost felt like they took a backseat too often. There wasn't any real flow to the story to carry it along. I was surprised by how many scenes were excluded from the movie version that were in the book... but, in the end I'm glad they did because the movie told the story smoothly without getting tangled in characters or scenes that weren't that important in the end.
