I don't know how they do it. Write a book that captures attention from the first page to the last. A'shai and Liberty did not have it easy. A'shai from the first day he met Liberty remained loyal as her protector until the end. Since its a trilogy can't wait for the next two. Like how the Murder Mamas got a special not towards the end. Baron gets a side eye from me on the whole issue of not backing A'shai on the Liberty issue. He knew where he had come from and what he had been through. Willow herself had said that A'shai when he first came to live with them constantly talked about Liberty and called her his wife. So when A'shai finally rescues her and brings her home Baron starts playing dumb about the situation. He blamed A'shai for Willow's death but if he had handled things differently the outcome would have been different. He is such a thinker but never saw that his nephew Nico was a traitor. Even though he turned his backon A'shai, A'shai told him he would always remain loyal and he kept his word.
