As the sole survivor of a brutal crime, Reece Gilmore has been trying to out-run the emotional battle held within by traveling open spaces and making turns following ‘signs’ as she perceives them.

She arrives in Angel’s Fist, Wyoming and takes a job as a cook to pad her wallet a bit before moving on but finds herself relaxing with the town-folk a little more than she imagined was possible.

When she witnesses a brutal crime her emotional state comes into question when no one can find any evidence of the crime and she begins to second guess things that seem to be going awry since she has no memory of them.

This is a fast paced novel and would be a great summer read by the pool or beach.
