2 of 5 stars
bookshelves: did-not-finish

Preposterous, silly, flat, annoying, and not-the-least-engaging. In fact, the preceding should be the five factions. I can't finish it. Life's too short. The only reason I gave it one extra star is because it's ambitious, and I'm nice.

31.0% "The only reason I'm continuing is because it has such positive reviews. The character arcs begin on a flawed premise, that humans can be categorized. EVERYONE IS DIVERGENT - the core of human nature. The 16-year-old brain is not fully formed and is BOUND to change. This negates the very nature of growing up. what is dauntless about pitting the STRONG against the WEAK? That's COWARDICE. THIS BOOK IS RIDICULOUS SO FAR." 18 comments
