The Serpent's Shadow (Kane Chronicles, #3)

This book would be great for a book review because it is not a very complicated book, but the plot is really interesting and exciting. It holds the reader's attention throughout the entire story. The characters are really well developed and the reader can almost develop a connection with them. The brief moments when the characters are speaking to each other away from the microphone with which they tell the rest of the story give the reader a break from perhaps serious moments with interjections of humor. It is very cleverly written with characters overlapping with their different stories and backgrounds. The relationships between the characters are told from the exact points of view of the characters in turn, so it is interesting for people to have access to two different sides of the story of their adventures to brink back the Egyptian gods and save the world. It is a fascinating story that any group of people would love to read and in a book group it will be easy to get involved with the story. I definitely recommend reading this book with a book group.
