[audio] First in the Born In / Concannon Sisters trilogy, this is a classic Nora Roberts romance. The appeal of this title lies in the details of the art of glass blowing, the descriptions of society gala events (covered with humor, versus the minute details of Barbara Taylor Bradford) and the Irish location. Fiacre Douglas's narration marvelously added to the strong sense of place - I often have difficulty with men narrating females but Douglas does a fine job. Enjoyable light series reading. For sensitive readers, the abuse is not a graphic focus.
