A great mix of history and politics, this book discusses the United States' place in the world. According to Kagan, the U.S. and the European views of the world differ for a variety of reasons. He discusses his perceived reasons in great detail and convincing fashion. While I don't agree with some of the premises, I did learn quit a bit and enjoyed the concise nature of the book.
