really liked it
Read from January 09 to 15, 2012 — I own a copy

After reading this novel, I really can appreciate Collins as an author. When I read The Hunger Games, I was disappointed that she was not as direct and confrontational with her allusions. Catching Fire has made up for this, although I had to wait until I was halfway through the novel for it to happen, when her genius appears. Characters blossom into brilliant archetypes and the story behind the story ends with fire. If the next book continues on like this, it will surely be my favorite book of the series. Brava!
