Read in January, 2012 — I own a copy

A great story where three narratives are interwoven and set on the isle of Anglesey, covering 350 years from the Civil War to the present. Wheatley, has obviously done a lot of research in this wonderful unique story where an old ruined mansion is the link between the past and present. The author connects the three narratives so that the reader can easily understand, even though the stories are all set in different historical times. The ending was a huge surprise, though I can’t say why without giving it away. I great read and I highly recommend it.
