it was ok
bookshelves: classics

I throw my hands up and admit to not finishing this book. Sorry, I just felt too happy to become depressed by this.

Frankenstein created a man out of bits of other men and spent the rest of the book in deep depression because it came to life and was ugly.

I got to the part where he rowed out to the middle of the lake and when he was still sat there moping three pages in (with many more to go) I had a sudden attack of interest in other books.
For me Frankenstein is still sat moping in that lake. Perhaps one day I'll read past it, but not any time soon.
