really liked it
bookshelves: ece-3601, family, emotions

This book is a great read that illustrates a close-knit family with a very strong loving bond between each member. The characters in the story are from multiple generations which shows how family traditions like carving family members names in rafters have been continued throughout the years. The vivid descriptions of the landscapes make it easy for anybody listening to the story to create a complete image of each setting without seeing any of the book's illustrations.
