Here I Am

I am not real sure what was missing but I just could not find this to be realistic. I do love the fact that Ms. Alers found it more correct to make the hero of the story to be of one nationality. I have read many of her books where the white man we see is not really white he has two or more heritages mixed in. As for the story there were just a few points where I found connections with Brandt and Ciara but not enough to rapt me completely in the story. I found it good to hear tidbits of the connecting characters. I did read other stories that are yet to come within this one. That give me something to look forward to.
Mr. Football (Brandt Wainwright) and Nurse No-nonsense (Ciara Dennison) meet under difficult circumstances. For a man with lots of bark he takes notices when she has more bark than he does. His money and fame does not phase the zero tolerant nurse. Life has a way of putting itself into prospective for you when you least expect it.
