it was amazing
Read from January 08 to 10, 2012

This was a recommendation from another writer Debra Anastasia. It's a somber, sweet, romantic story of a ghost trapped for decades in the house he dies in. His family leaves and he's left all alone until a unique woman with an even more unique personal history moves in. For me, I was facinated in his situation and then she comes along and everything kicks up a notch. In the beginning, I thought that the story was sort of slow, but after thinking about it more, Ms. Brassington did an excellent job of making me experience the long passage of time. I really empathized with Patrick and his situation. I can barely imagine sitting in a waiting room for 40 minutes let alone being in some sort of limbo for 40 years. I highly recommend this even if you don't appreciate the paranormal romance category. At the end, I was sort of depressed, because I wanted to find out more about the characters but it looks like she has a sequel coming out this year for more of their story...yippie!
