it was amazing

This book was recommended to me by a writer friend because of my unhealthy love for sociopathic characters. This wasn't what I was expecting, honestly, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a captivating story. It's been a LONG time since I've read a thriller and this one was an awesome one.

The best part of this story is John's internal battle with the 'monster' inside of him, while ironically, fighting a monster on the outside as well. You don't see that sort of thing very often. Not only that, is John's loneliness. He hates the 'demon' because it can blend in better with society than he can.

The ending was perfect. I saw this book as a movie without even trying. This book would be amazing for starting up a horror movie. It has the thrills and chills for it.

I have the sequel and I shall read it. Oh, yes I shall.

BTW: Any other great books starring a sociopath, recommend it to me? I'd love to read 'em.
