Another reliably exciting read from Phillip Margolin. Has this tuy EVER written something that was less than REALLY good? I haven't read it, if he has!

Amanda Jaffe is back - she was in a prior novel...as was Daniel Ames, who is mentioned in this one but not a major character. Intersting that he is living now with Amanda's investigator.

I didn't see the Maria Lopez piece coming...and the end WAS bit contrived -- sort of deus ex machina-ish, yet TOTALLY right on for the movie that should be made of this one.

OK, time to cast the movie. For Amanda, that woman who was in Damages would have been great...Rose Byrne. Beyond that I would have to think, and it is too damn early.

How do you pronounce oeuvre? Time to go to Google, don't you just LOVE that you can click on the little microphone and HEAR any word you look up?

Sorry, Phil, I just can't focus. My brain is trashed from too many nights staying up late with you.
