Another of the St. Kilda suspense books by Elizabeth Lowell. Same basic plot - young woman (in this case, Kayla, a private banker) gets sucked into a sticky situation involving blackmail, international upheaval, politics, etc.. Come to the rescue another St. Kilda operative acting undercover to nail the bad guy (the one responsible for his twin brother's death), and in the process ends up protecting Kayla and falling for her. Same basic plot as most of Elizabeth Lowell's novels. My one complaint with Ms. Lowell's books is too much descriptive lust. I tend to pass over these parts quickly, because they aren't really necessary to the plot. A little romance is OK, but why get so carried away? Sometimes less is more.
