Another good book by Cherie Priest in the series following 'Boneshaker'

I really like the verse she's creating and how things from the previous books reappear even if the stories are seemingly unrelated. It's not just that the same characters appear, we begin to learn more about them or thing that happened in one of the previous books get mentioned. Still it's done in a way that each and every book could be read on its own. And all that without annoying repetitions like I've seen in some other books.

Cherie Priest manages to introduce the characters in every book without making it boring when you've read the previous ones, and it doesn't feel as if she'd just copied and pasted it.

Apart from that it was a really nice story, even if some parts kept left unexplained - that's why I give it 4 stars and not 5. Some things just happen, but you don't get told how and why, so that keeps you wondering.

I'll definitely read the next book in the series too and probably some other books by Cherie Priest as well
