it was amazing
Read in February, 2008

I loved this book!! Not a page turner for the romance if that is what you are going for. However, again, I have been a sucker for historical novels lately. This book seemed to capture the fallen nature of man so poignantly that the portrayed redemption became more beautiful and personal to me. Words fail me. It was amazing. You get out of it what you put in. I love her Christian imagery. It was almost like she knew about the restoration and the truths of the atonement (including the fall, mercy, grace, forgiveness, redemption etc.) as taught from the Book of Mormon though this is less than likely especially considering the date of authorship.

I know I read this in end of 2007 beginning of 2008. February is a guess.
