really liked it

I've always been facsinated with this series. I was first introduced to it as a toddler when I watched all the BBC movies over and over again. My mom read the books to me for the first time when I was five. I particularly loved the symbolism. It really encouraged me to think about God, and I loved, loved, loved Aslan! I still do prefer the BBC costume version of the majestic lion to the cheesy, computerized, dippy-lookin' lion in the newer movies (haha). All in all, these books had a great affect on me as a child, helped me see God in new ways, and I still love them :)

(I do want to add that I thought the bit about Susan at the end was tacky and kind of contradicted the security we, as Christians, have in Christ; whether Lewis intended that or not, I'm not sure. Those of you who've read this book know what I mean.)
