Good short overview of world history. Especially good for junior high or early high school students. Also good for adults who do not know much history or have forgotten what they did learn. The author clearly has a broad understanding of world history and his writing style is fun to read. The main flaw in the book is the author's lack of understanding of economics and the critical role of capitalism in creating prosperity. But if you just focus on the historical aspects that do not relate to economics then it is a very good book.
