Ok, I will say it...I am not a romance girl. I will not fall for baby blue and pink covers with roses and italic title. Not that I have anything against romance; it's just that I prefer other genres more.
So, how did I end up writing this review?
I like to think of myself as open minded; so when I asked people what romance book should I definitely read, Dreaming of You was the book everybody mentioned. And, what a book it is...
I was blown away with main characters in this book. Sara is one of the most likable heroines I ever read of. She is smart and simple girl, kind and gentle woman who loves to write. Above everything she is thruthfull. She is true to others, but she is true to herself also. Only someone with these character traits could match a storm that is Derek Craven. Derek is one beautiful mess of opposites- (view spoiler) And then comes Sara Fielding. Comparing to him, she is so innocent and sweet that she couldn't possibly be a part of his world in any way. Here is the moment I fell in love with Sara. Derek was described as devilishly handsome, tough and strong man, but Sara was for me the bravest person in this book. (view spoiler) So, thank you Lisa, for creating admirable romance heroine that any woman wants to be.
