really liked it

This is a satire of office policies, business, sales, etc. I laughed outloud in several places and found the disconnect between the business-speak and what was actually talked about really funny. You can make even the most hideous concepts acceptable when you use HR-type terminology and talk about proactive this or LEAN that. (Kept thinking of Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal.) I am pretty sure that some people will find this book deeply offensive. And bits of it are sick (like the whole concept ot lightning rods!), but the intresting thing is that most of it isn't. Ultimately, it is so preposterous and Joe, Lucille, and Renee are so endearing, that I ended up liking the book very much.
