really liked it
Read from June 26 to 29, 2012

This is the first time I've read a novel of 9/11 and it's aftermath, and I have to say it wasn't nearly as depressing as I expected it to be. It was actually quite hopeful and I enjoyed it. Oscar is brilliant and it's difficult not to compare this with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, both narrators being young autistic boys. I recommend both books for excellent narration by a child.
