Taylor What do you think so far? This was recently recommended to me. Do you think it might be a good book club selection?

Antonia Taylor,

It is a very slim book that could probably be read in a couple of sittings. I am only half-way through it and enjoying it so far. I will let you know how I like it once I finish it. The book won a bunch of awards last year, including the prestigious Man Booker Prize of Great Britain. I know that doesn't always guarantee an interesting read, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

I'll tell you more when I finish it.

Taylor I didn't realize it was only 150 pages. If you recommend it, maybe I'll have to slip it in one weekend. :)

Antonia Taylor, I didn't like it. I am trying to figure out why it is on so many critics' best-of-the-year lists and why it won all those praises. It is 150 pages that read like 500. It took me several weeks to finish just because I was not at all motivated to pick it up. Anyway, this is just my opinion. You might enjoy it...

Taylor Thanks for the feedback. :) I'm sorry that it wasn't enjoyable for you. Sounds like I won't be picking it up anytime soon, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to leave it on my "to-read" shelf. :)
