bookshelves: ya, arc, sci-fi, 2012
Read from January 07 to 22, 2012

So, I've decided not to give this book any stars- not because it was that bad, but because I wouldn't know where to start.

I am not
a)into horse headed aliens
b)a sci-fi reader... at all...
c) a twelve year old boy

Therefore, my opinion of this book may be slightly skewed. I don't know that I will ever be a big sci-fi fan. Not there is anything wrong with it, its just too much for me to keep up with. Different planets and races/species- but still everyone speaks the same language and you can breathe the atmosphere on other planets????? Whatever. I read this book for a challenge I am doing. Maybe one day a book will make me love aliens.... but this wasn't it.

However, I did really enjoy the humor of the main character (Daniel). And I do love elephants (its relevant, I promise). I think that if I was a pre pubescent boy and needed a fun series, I could dig this one.
