A positive non fictional book for a change. Has a lot of interesting facts and perspectives on future technology and development. Probably 2nd only to Kurzweils The Singularity is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology. The idea of competition/award driven invention is also good (x price etc.). I wish I had a billion USD to give away on such developments. Only deficiency in the book is that there are too many possible things that can/will go wrong and which might hamper development (demographics, species extinction, peak oil etc. i.e. the so called convergence of catastrophes cf.
