I really wanted to like these books, after hearing so much about them over the years. I was so excited to see they were collected into one volume with this edition too. I didn't really love the writing style, and I got what the author was trying to do but it just didn't really "speak" to me. It's not something I can really put my finger on but to me these books just didn't live up to the hype. I think they were almost trying too hard, if that makes any sense. Kind of like the indie kids you see at every concert posing in the corner, acting disinterested. I liked the Witch Baby stories the best out of all of them, for what that's worth.

Kelly I was about to write a review, but when I read this one, and I realized it says exactly everything I was thinking about this book. I just wasn't feelin' them no matter how much I wanted to.... but then I wonder how can there be so many positive reviews??? Stumped.

Erin I've only finished book one, but so far? I do not get it. xoxo
