s.penkevich Oh wow, yeah you do have some beasts of novels to get through! I've always meant to read this since I've like the few Mailer books I have read. What do you think so far?

Paquita Maria Sanchez It's definitely engrossing, which makes its heft seem far less daunting. This is my first Mailer, but I'm already pretty excited at about 80 pages in. Only a zillion more to go!

Mariel I was completely obsessed by this. It's one of my favorites I've ever read. Mikal Gilmore's book is also more than worth reading.

Paquita Maria Sanchez Consider it mentally noted. Thanks, Mar-Mar!

More valuable advice from the Sherpa! I want to apply this wisdom to every book I need to read, finish, review, etc. All Police, all the time.

Mariel I could apply one of their songs to any book. It's my one talent.

BB, Bring on the night is about him. There is also a song by some band I don't listen to called "Gary Gilmore's eyes" (they were donated to science).
I did write an abc of Gary Gilmore. I know my stuff.
